  • Board Chair:
    Meredith Wardwell Sherman
    Meredith Wardwell Sherman serves as the Regional Director of Construction and Operations for CommonSpirit Health. Mrs. Sherman holds an MBA from Johns Hopkins Carey Business School as well as a MS in Civil Engineering and BS in Architectural Engineering from University of Colorado - Boulder. She serves as the Advisory Board Chair for the Women in Healthcare Denver Chapter, Vice President of the American Medical Facilities Professional Board as well and Chairman Elect for the Colorado Springs Historic Preservation Board. Mrs. Sherman is a Colorado Springs native with a passion for the Springs community and its long-term growth and development. She has two children attending MacLaren. [2nd term: March 2025]

    Picture of Carol Neel
    Carol Neel is Professor of History at Colorado College, where she has taught since 1980 and held multiple chairships in the History Department and the Faculty Executive Committee. She received her B.A. in Classics from Bryn Mawr College in 1976, and her M.A., then Ph.D. in History from Cornell University in 1981. Dr. Neel has published several books and many articles on medieval family and spiritual life, and is a specialist in twelfth-century religious communities. Among her teaching interests are child rearing patterns throughout the European and American pasts, a topic which her own four children have given her great interest and some insight. [2nd term: January 2027]

    Picture of Khristine Prickett Vadala
    Khristine Prickett Vadala is a Key Account Manager at Glory Global Solutions working with top tier financial institutions for the past twenty years. She attended San Diego State University, graduating with a BS in Marketing. She has over 25 years experience volunteering within the Colorado Springs community with schools, non-profits and other worthy organizations. She has two children attending MacLaren. [1st term: July 2023]

  • Board Treasurer:
    Picture of Purvi Sittner
    Purvi Sittner has over 15 years of experience as a financial professional. She has a strong background in financial management and software implementation for non-profit organizations. Her educational background includes a Master of Business Administration from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Auburn University. She is serving as Board Treasurer for the Rock Ledge Ranch Living History Association, and has many years of experience as a volunteer treasurer for various scout troops and PTA organizations. She is currently serving her sixth year on the MacLaren Parent Service Association Steering Committee and served for two years on the MacLaren School Accountability Committee.  She has two children who attend Thomas MacLaren. [1st term: July 2026]

    Picture of Katherine Brophy
    Katherine Brophy is one of the founders of Thomas MacLaren School. She served on the Board of Directors from 2008-2014. From 2014-2021, she worked at the school as Director of Enrollment and then as Director of Communications and Marketing. She has been a member of the MacLaren Parent Service Association Steering Committee since its inception in 2009. Mrs. Brophy attended Saint Mary’s College (IN) and double majored in English Literature and French. She and her husband have six children, all of whom graduated from MacLaren. [1st term: December 2025]

    Dawn Conley currently works as the Special Assistant to the Mayor and runs her own marketing company, Helix. She attended The Ohio State University, and has a degree in Economics and has worked in several different locations across the country and worked for General Electric in Europe. Dawn is very involved in the community, and has volunteer and board experience with many organizations and recently worked on legislation that yielded a positive impact for military spouses with occupational licenses. Mrs. Conley has one child that attends MacLaren. [2nd term: February 2026]

     

    Dan Cooper
    Dan Cooper has worked for the past twenty years as a software sales manager at Oracle Corporation. He is a Colorado Springs native, born at the Air Force Academy and raised in District 11 schools. He studied history at the University of Colorado followed by time spent studying Russian language in the US and Russia. He has two children attending MacLaren. [1st term: December 2026]

     

    Marvin Lee
    Marvin Lee, M.D., M.B.A., is a board-certified aesthetics and internal medicine practitioner serving the community of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Dr. Lee is the co-founder of PureLee Redefined Med Spa. Dr. Lee completed his bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He earned his medical degree at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, and completed his internal medicine residency at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Lee served as an active-duty Air Force physician at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs and served in the Colorado Air National Guard at Buckley Air Force Base in Aurora, Colorado. After serving his country he completed a master's degree in business administration from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain. He also served as chief medical officer in Kwajalein Atoll in the Republic of the Marshall Islands. Dr. Lee recently completed the CiviCO Governor's Fellowship Program and serves on the Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC Board of Directors. [1st term: December 2026]
